Experience Makes A Difference

The team at Nock Oral Surgery wants to ensure that you are as comfortable as possible during you time at our office. Most of the procedures we perform take just 45 minutes or less and you are home and resting comfortably that same day. Dr. Nock has the training, license, and experience to provide various types of sedation for patients, from local to general anesthesia. These options will be discussed with you before the procedure is performed. Once the procedure is completed, you will rest comfortably under our supervision in the office until you are ready to be taken home. Our staff welcomes your questions about what to expect, please give us a call at (970) 242-4433.

“I loved Dr. Nock and his staff! They were very caring and professional. We’ll drive from Telluride anytime to see him!” ~ Lisa S. via Facebook

Help Is On The Way!

When a tooth is damaged to the extent that a filling, crown, or other treatment is not enough to fix it, that tooth may need to be removed, or extracted. While a general dentist can perform simple tooth extractions with a local anesthetic, an oral surgeon, such as Dr. Nock, performs more complex extractions, such as wisdom tooth removal, with the option of a general anesthetic to make the procedure as comfortable as possible. Here are some of the most common reasons a tooth may need to be extracted:

  • To remove extra teeth that block other teeth from emerging.
  • To remove extra teeth that cause a crooked smile or bite, or to create room for teeth that will be shifted by orthodontic treatment.
  • To remove a tooth that is deeply infected.
  • To remove wisdom teeth which have become impacted.

If you need to have a teeth removed and you want to have it done in as fast, efficient, and comfortable as way as possible, you have come to the right place! Learn more about our other surgical procedures, wisdom teeth removal and dental implants.
